Rail Bridge over the Derwent
|

 |

24 feet span semicircular brick arches, 10 on the
southeast side, and 5 on the northwest side, with a 90 feet cast iron
span over the river
Designed by J.C. Birkinshaw; it consists of six
cast iron spandrel arched ribs. The weight of the iron work bridge is
over 260 tons
