"Dominus Petrus de Sauvey" held land in Norfolk, Lincoln, Sussex and Kent, in the reign of Edward I.—Rotuli Hundredorum. In the Camden Roll, Henri de Sauueye bears Argent, an Eagle displayed Sable, and Amys de Sauueye the same eagle, beaked Gules.
