Michael Linton's Bayeux Tapestry: 1066 - A Medieval Mosaic and Puzzles
Puzzles
Factor One
Choose a set-up from the book, and place the pins accordingly.
Rearrange the pins so that you have the same number of pins in each column and that they are also in the same order. You are only allowed to move the pins sideways.
The setups provided in the booklet have been selected because they are challenging and allow a person to play by themselves. However, you may also create your own setups to challenge a friend. To do this, create a solution pattern as the one shown in the image, and then simply move each of the pins back to the left side of the board. Now give this to your friend to solve.
Note, it maybe possible using certain setups, to have all the pins in one column down the left side of the board. This is not considered a valid solution.
