Princess Elena (Helen) (born 15 November 1950) is a daughter of Michael I (Mihai), King of Romania.

She was born in Lausanne, Switzerland and on 20 July 1983 she married Dr. Leslie Medforth-Mills (8 December 1942 - 2 February 2002) in a civil ceremony at Durham and later in a Greek Orthodox church in Lausanne on 24 September of that year. The couple had two children, Nicholas Michael Medforth-Mills (b. 1 April 1985) and Elizabeth Karina Medforth-Mills (b. 4 January 1989) and were divorced on 28 November 1991.

Elena was remarried on 14 August 1998 at Peterlee to Alexander McAteer (b. 22 October 1964). She is 2nd in line of succession of the Romanian Throne, and 83rd in line of succession of the British Throne.
