Princess Augusta Sophia of the United Kingdom
Princess Augusta Sophia of Great Britain and Ireland, Princess of Hanover, Duchess of Brunswick and Lüneburg was born on November 8, 1768 at Buckingham House, Saint James's Park, London and died on September 22, 1840 at Clarence House, St. James, London.
She was the seventh child and second daughter of King George III of the United Kingdom (1738-1820) and his wife Queen Charlotte. She neither married nor had any children, and is buried at St George's Chapel, Windsor.
